Antes de vincularse a Acumen, Elvia fue Gerente del Fondo de Inversiones Misionales de Impacto \u2013FIMI- de Fondo Acci\u00f3n en Bogot\u00e1. Sus responsabilidades inclu\u00edan la identificaci\u00f3n de oportunidades de inversi\u00f3n, el an\u00e1lisis, la debida diligencia y la ejecuci\u00f3n de transacciones de capital y deuda, as\u00ed como el seguimiento al portafolio de inversiones. Previamente, en su pr\u00e1ctica de consultor\u00eda, Elvia se especializ\u00f3 en desarrollo de negocios sostenibles, planeaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica y financiera de emprendimientos sociales y organizaciones sin \u00e1nimo de lucro, y an\u00e1lisis y evaluaci\u00f3n de iniciativas desde una perspectiva de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n<p>Elvia tambi\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 para la filial de Banca de Inversi\u00f3n del Grupo Bancolombia donde origin\u00f3, estructur\u00f3 y ejecut\u00f3 transacciones para compa\u00f1\u00edas en diversas industrias en Latinoam\u00e9rica, y donde tuvo responsabilidades crecientes como asociada y gerente de proyectos.
