OUR INVESTMENTS FOCUS ON DELIVERING CRITICAL NEEDS FOR WEST AFRICANS
Health
Patients are becoming more active participants in their health, but traditional care models don’t meet the needs of the poor. Social, environmental, and economic factors also influence health, but are unconnected from our healthcare system
Workforce Development
Traditional higher education is changing and old financing models are broken. The pace of automation is increasing and the shelf-life of skills is shortening. Low-income Americans are left without pathways to the good jobs of the future.
Financial Inclusion
Income volatility and slow wage growth are contributing to low savings and the inability to withstand financial shocks. Traditional financial service providers are out-of-reach for many low-income Americans and the ‘alternative’ providers can exacerbate economic vulnerability.
