Aneesa Khan

Aneesa Khan is Communications Associate, Social and Video Content at Acumen. She creates multimedia content to amplify Acumen CEO, Jacqueline Novogratz’s voice across social platforms, maintains editorial calendars, and works with communications and OCEO to activate organizational narratives.
She is a Pakistani-American filmmaker focused on South Asian storytelling, her work includes “The Girl With Anklets,” which earned Best Cinematography at the Pakistani Film Festival Australia 2021, and “Criteria Kya Hai?,” a finalist for the 2023 Tasveer Film Fund supported by Netflix with ten festival selections in 2024.
Aneesa was most recently associate producer and film consultant on “Mirrors,” starring Academy Award nominee Paul Raci. She previously managed community engagement at Rifelion, coordinating events for projects including “Ramadan America,” and held positions at Blumhouse Productions and Women in Entertainment.
Currently in pre-production for “Tandava,” an Indian-Western horror feature where she serves as Lead Producer, Aneesa is making her feature filmmaking debut. She holds a degree in Communication and Media Studies from Northwestern University.
