Tamika Kimaru

Tamika Kimaru joined Acumen as a Talent Associate for East Africa, where she supports talent acquisition and people operations across the region. In her role, she works closely with teams and candidates to help identify, attract, and support exceptional talent aligned with Acumen’s mission and growth across Africa.

Before joining Acumen, Tamika served in several people and talent-focused roles, including as a Talent Acquisition Partner at a pan-African consultancy firm, where she supported recruitment across multiple markets and managed end-to-end hiring processes. She also previously worked at Strathmore University as an Associate, gaining experience in stakeholder engagement, administration, and organizational coordination.

Tamika holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Human Resource Management, as well as a Diploma in Business Management from Strathmore University. Her academic and professional background reflects her strong interest in people strategy, organizational development, and building high-performing teams.

She is recognized for her collaborative approach, strong interpersonal skills, and commitment to creating thoughtful and impactful talent experiences across diverse professional environments.
