Julia Mensink

Julia Mensink is Director of Impact at Acumen, where she leads the organisation’s impact strategy across investments, operations, technology, research and thought leadership. She has two decades of experience across impact investing, international development and academia, with work spanning agriculture, energy, financial inclusion, education and health.

Julia specialises in Impact Measurement and Management, with a focus on connecting evidence, investment practice and decision-making to advance poverty alleviation, climate action and inclusion. She also contributes to wider field-building through industry working groups and research on systemic investing, data utility and impact management.

Her work brings together practical investment experience and academic insight to strengthen how organisations understand and manage impact. Julia is a Guest Faculty member for the Oxford Impact Measurement Programme at Saïd Business School and guest lectures at the London School of Economics, where she earned her PhD.
