Safee Ullah Babar

Safee is a Portfolio Associate at Acumen Pakistan, where he assists both the fund development team and portfolio management team. As part of the fund development team, he is assisting in developing Pakistan’s first climate-focused Agri fund investing in growth-stage agribusinesses across the value chain. Simultaneously, Safee actively oversees Acumen’s portfolio companies, handling financial reporting, legal matters, operational due diligence, and stakeholder relations.

Safee is passionate about finance and has a great affinity for developing financial models. Before joining Acumen, Safee served as an Investment Consultant at Vitas Ventures, spearheading due diligence for potential fintech and education sector investments. He also worked at Baltoro Capital as a Summer Analyst, contributing to industry research, market analysis, and investment proposals.

Safee earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
