Jedidah Ndubi

As a Portfolio Manager, Jedidah’s responsibilities include pipeline development, building trusting relationships within the ecosystem, identifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and impact assessments, negotiating deal terms and closing, proactive portfolio management and value creation, coaching junior team members and enhancing Acumen’s brand and reputation. She joined Acumen in February 2022 and focused on investing in local founders and employing a gender lens in investments, actively supporting female founders in accessing capital.

Before joining Acumen, Jedidah was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) with over 8 years of experience in Transaction Advisory/Corporate Finance Services. In this role, she was extensively involved in business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, capital raising processes, financial modeling, and corporate reorganizations in East Africa. Before PwC, she also gained valuable experience at Ernst & Young.

Jedidah holds a Master of Science degree in Finance and Investments as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi. She’s also a Certified Public Accountant. During her free time, Jed enjoys traveling and immersing herself in nature, practicing yoga, reading, and dancing.
