Magdalena Banasiak

Team

As Government Partnership Director, Magdalena leads our business development and partnerships with bilateral and multilateral government partners and programs globally, focusing on climate resilience, gender lens investing, and youth employment.

Before joining Acumen, she was Head of Tech and Innovation for the UK International Development Agency (FCDO) and Senior Climate Change adviser. She has over 25 years of experience working in a range of roles in International Development across Africa, MENA, and Asia, working for funders such as UK FCDO/DFID, leading on innovation, climate, infrastructure, and tech advisory and programs, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and private sector development and investment.
