Adedamola Olajide

Damola is the Compliance Associate on Acumen’s Legal Team. She supports the development and upkeep of the organization’s policies and conducts due diligence checks on stakeholders across Acumen’s different funds to ensure that every partnership aligns with the organization’s values and compliance standards.

Before joining Acumen, Damola worked with Olujinmi and Akeredolu Legal Practitioners, where she advised clients on risk management, compliance, and legal strategy. Her work was rooted in clarity, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to helping clients navigate complex legal processes with confidence.

Damola holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Law with Globalisation from the University of Birmingham and a Master’s in Diplomacy and International Governance from Loughborough University, both in the UK. She is also a qualified Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria.

Beyond her legal and compliance work, Damola has a creative side — she’s a fashion enthusiast who loves styling people and expressing herself through fashion in her free time.
