Alexandra is Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Acumen. She is responsible for bringing to life Acumen’s brand voice, insights and impact and amplifying the extraordinary work of their global investees and fellows. She was most recently President and Partner at Matter Unlimited a social impact consultancy that sits at the intersection of culture, capital and cause. She has worked with some of the world’s most respected foundations, nonprofits and brands including The Obama Foundation, The Rockefeller Foundation, Nike and UNICEF. Her work has been Emmy nominated, honored multiple years at The Cannes Lions Festival and The Anthem Awards. In the last decade her communication strategies and storytelling have spanned issues from energy poverty to maternal health and the road to net zero. Alexandra is President of the board for The 49% a media company using women’s storytelling to advocate for sustainable change and has spoken at the UN on the role of storytelling in the fight to end maternal mortality.
