Alex Trabulsi

As the Director of Philanthropy, Alex Trabulsi is responsible for engaging Acumen partners with the impact of our social entrepreneurs and vision of building a world based on dignity. With 15 years of experience, she is an accomplished fundraising professional with expertise in developing fundraising strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborating across teams to drive impact.

At Acumen, Alex develops strategies to grow philanthropic support for the organization, leads our West Coast Development & Partnerships team, and coordinates cross-regional engagement and stewardship programs. Additionally, Alex manages Development & Partnerships communications efforts to engage our diverse audience of partners and community members.

Before joining Acumen, Alex served as Vice President of Development at the American Heart Association overseeing corporate and individual philanthropy, and as Director of Development at CODE2040 leading philanthropy at the intersection of diversity, equity, and inclusion and technology implementing an 8-figure growth capital campaign.

Alex holds a master of business administration degree from Southern Nazarene University, where she graduated summa cum laude and a bachelor of science degree in Biology from Oklahoma State University. She’s involved with several organizations, including most recently serving as the Executive Vice President for the Junior League of San Francisco. She lives in Marin County, California with her husband, son, and their tenacious Labradoodle.
