Angela Tan

As an Associate on the Development & Partnerships Operations team, Angela manages Acumen’s fundraising operations on the West Coast. She supports donor cultivation and stewardship through research, data management, and coordination of local events designed to deepen community engagement with Acumen’s mission. Prior to joining Acumen, Angela built a robust foundation in international development project management, working on U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) projects that supported non-profit leaders and entrepreneurs around the world to drive sustainable development solutions. She conducted market research in Madagascar to evaluate local organizations’ readiness for agency partnerships, co-created a multimedia training program to empower entrepreneurs and development leaders globally, and contributed to a team that provided strategy recommendations for USAID’s flagship food security initiative. Angela graduated cum laude from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, with a Bachelor of Science in International Politics and a minor in Economics.
