Efemena Odu

Mena is responsible for the development, iteration, and adaptation of the leadership curriculum for Acumen Academy’s Foundry pathway programs in coordination with Acumen’s regional teams and external partners.

She was a founding faculty member at the African Leadership College, Mauritius, where she designed and taught undergraduate courses, developed and implemented plans for a range of academic, student life, Quality Assurance, and operations initiatives, and mentored students and fellow staff members. Before ALU, she worked in traditional, academic, and digital publishing in New York and Lagos.

Mena holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Political Science from Columbia University and a PgCert in Learning and Higher Education from Glasgow Caledonian University.
