Julianna Larock

Julianna is a core member of Acumen’s Executive Operations, supporting the Chief Development and Partnerships Officer (CDPO) and Chief Communications and Marketing Officer (CCMO). She leads strategic relationship management, drives high-impact special projects, and provides communications and logistical support.

Based in New York, she serves as a key liaison to Acumen’s global staff, Board of Directors, Partners, and broader community. Previously, she supported Acumen’s Chief of Insights and Strategy and General Counsel on research and cross-functional initiatives.

Before joining Acumen, Julianna was a research associate at the McNulty Foundation, advancing global social impact efforts across India, China, and Kenya in areas including climate resilience, reproductive justice, and child development. She has represented the International Federation of Social Workers at the UN Economic and Social Council and is a three-time UN-published author on women’s rights and child development. Julianna holds a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy and is a Licensed Master Social Worker through Fordham University. She is proficient in Spanish, Chinese, French, and Italian.
