Mariana García Pava

Associate

  • Bogotá

Mariana’s journey in social development began at the age of 13. What started as youth volunteering evolved into a professional career and purpose: contributing to the professionalization and specialization of the social sector.

A graduate in Industrial Engineering from the Technological University of Pereira (Colombia) with international training at Aarhus University (Denmark), she seamlessly merges analytical rigor, efficiency, and optimization with a deep-rooted social vocation.

She has brought her expertise and passion to high-level international stages, including the 55th UN Commission for Social Development, and has collaborated with key organizations such as the Technological University of Pereira, the Pereira Chamber of Commerce, and the Frisby Foundation prior to joining Acumen.

She prioritizes work-life balance as a fundamental pillar, an approach that allows her to integrate her career with her life purpose and her most cherished role: being a wife and a mother.
