Nidhisha Philip

Nidhisha manages strategic partner engagement that supports Acumen’s work in workforce development and agriculture in India. In this role, she supports fundraising activities, relationship management, and program management of partnerships with foundations, corporations, and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining Acumen, Nidhisha worked in program management at the Vidhi Center for Legal Policy as a member of the founding team that launched ‘Nyaaya’, an initiative that leveraged data standards and technology to make laws accessible, and at the Center for Open Data Enterprise to support research and stakeholder engagement on open data in the United States. Before transitioning to the social impact space, Nidhisha was a corporate lawyer at S&R Associates where she worked on equity capital market transactions including initial public offerings and qualified institutional placements in sectors such as infrastructure, telecommunications, banking, and microfinance.

Nidhisha holds a master’s degree in international development from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in law from the National Law School of India University.
