Rachael Ehima

Rachael is the West Africa Legal Counsel at Acumen, supporting its West Africa and Hardest-to-Reach (H2R) operations. Her role includes advising on investment management and execution, as well as providing legal guidance on operational and strategic matters.

Before joining Acumen, Rachael served as the Head of Legal at Piggyvest, a leading fintech democratizing savings and investments in Nigeria. In this role, she provided org-wide legal support and guided the company’s operational and strategic decisions. Rachael started off her career as an Associate at AELEX Partners, one of West Africa’s largest full-service law firms, where she specialized in Corporate/Commercial, Intellectual Property, and Mergers & Acquisitions, advising clients across various sectors.

Rachael holds an LLB from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
