Ruby Wanjiru

Ruby Wanjiru is a Learning Design Manager at Acumen, with over 14 years of experience designing, delivering, marketing and scaling capacity-building programs for entrepreneurs across Africa. Her expertise is in curriculum co-creation, adult learning facilitation, human-centered design, and learner experience strategy.
Before joining Acumen, Ruby led entrepreneurship programming at Centonomy Limited. Her background spans program design, stakeholder engagement, community building, and strategic storytelling, all grounded in a conviction that great learning design changes lives.
Beyond her professional work, Ruby is a Gratitude Ambassador who intentionally weaves the practice of gratitude into her daily life. She is also a Mental Wellness champion, bringing a deep commitment to emotional intelligence into every interaction with team members, stakeholders, and partners. She is intentional about building trust, and collaboration to make meaningful work possible.
