Shahzad Ul Hasan

Shahzad joined Acumen in 2022 and presently manages the finance and regulatory affairs for Pakistan office. Shahzad has more than 21 years of extensive experience in Financial Management, Audits, Cost Control, and Tax Planning besides being well-versed with the specific rules and regulations of most donors, particularly USAID.

Previously, Shahzad managed Finance and Grants for more than six years in USAID Citizens Voice Project, an advocacy and governance grants program in Pakistan. He has also managed the investment portfolio of one of the largest logistics corporations in the country. He has been providing financial and tax advisory services to various clients in a freelance capacity.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Shahzad completed his audit training at Grant Thornton Pakistan. He also has a university degree in Islamic Finance. Shahzad teaches accounting and auditing subjects at universities and professional institutes.
