Stanley is a Senior Associate with Acumen East Africa, supporting the design, delivery, and operations of Acumen’s first Climate-Focused Fellowship Program, a leadership development initiative for early-stage social enterprises in Africa’s green economy creating dignified jobs for women and youth. His role spans facilitation, outreach and recruitment, fellow selection, and reporting, working closely with Fellows, Acumen Academy’s West Africa team, and external partners from recruitment through graduation.
Prior to Acumen, Stanley led SME-focused leadership and enterprise development programs as Program Manager at Self Mind Harvest. Before that, he served as Head of Programs at Yusudi, where he led the design and scaling of donor-funded workforce development initiatives across East Africa, including the Women in Sales for a Green Future program with GIZ, which trained 2,500 youth and achieved over 1,500 job placements 70% women while facilitating more than 5,000 professionals into sustainable employment overall at an 87% placement rate.
Stanley holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University. His educational foundation, combined with a systemic approach to problem-solving, underpins his strength in program design, delivery, and operations bringing structure and strategic clarity to his work.
