Sunny Kim

Sunny joined Acumen in 2017 and currently serves as Director of Legal. In her role, Sunny manages global legal support for the implementation of Acumen’s charitable programs, including Acumen Ventures, Acumen Academy, and the organization’s general functions. Sunny works with teams across regions to ensure that Acumen’s activities are legally effective, compliant with laws, and in furtherance of Acumen’s mission and organizational strategy.

Before joining Acumen, Sunny worked at global law firms representing emerging companies throughout their lifecycle, and private equity funds in buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. Sunny received a BS from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a JD from the Duke University School of Law.
