Towojesudun Odede

Towojesudun Odede serves as the West Africa Fellows Program Associate at Acumen, where she supports the operations, coordination, and delivery of the Green RISE Africa Fellowship Programme.

With over five years of experience in entrepreneurship development, youth employment, and pan-African programme management, Towojesudun has designed and delivered initiatives that strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems, expand pathways to dignified work, and build the capacity of entrepreneurs across Africa.

Before joining Acumen, she coordinated the Mastercard Foundation Associates Program at LEAP Africa, leading partnerships across multiple African countries and supporting more than 12,000 young Africans in their transition to dignified and fulfilling work through the Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works strategy. She also coordinated the International Youth Foundation’s Youth Enterprise Fund and LEAP Africa’s Social Innovators Programme, designing technical assistance and catalytic funding support that strengthened more than 300 social entrepreneurs across Africa.

Earlier in her career, Towojesudun worked in credit underwriting and risk analysis, building expertise in financial analysis and enterprise risk management. She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and expanding economic opportunities for young people, particularly young women. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, reading, and discovering classic films.
