Wonuola Gbajumo

Wonuola works as an ESG Manager at Acumen, where he supports ESG activities across West Africa and the Acumen Capital Partner funds, ensuring alignment with investor ESG requirements and supporting ESG development across portfolio companies. He has a strong background in ESG due diligence and ESG investment strategy.’

Before joining Acumen, Wonuola worked at Ernst and Young, where he supported clients with ESG transactions and ESG system implementations across West Africa, South Africa, and Central Africa, spanning the energy, solar, financial services, and agriculture sectors. He also previously worked at EBS Advisory, providing ESG investment advisory across transactions and system implementation across West Africa.

Wonuola holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of Lagos, is ISO 14001 certified, the international standard for Environmental Management Systems, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Education from the University of Lagos.
