Yashashri Khedkar

Yashashri is a passionate community builder and strategic leader with over a decade of experience in driving social impact. An alumna of the University of Pennsylvania and India Leaders for Social Sector, she has dedicated her career to empowering underserved communities and fostering systems of change.
Before joining Acumen, Yashashri played a pivotal role at Make A Difference, where she helped young people transition from shelters to society, focusing on career counseling, placements, and crisis management. Her work ensured youth coming from marginalised communities were equipped with the right skills and support for sustainable futures.
At Acumen, Yashashri will focus on community-building efforts across India, supporting a dynamic network of 300+ social innovators. She is committed to amplifying their impact on marginalized lives by fostering meaningful connections and collaborations. Yashashri is also deeply passionate about harnessing the power of the community to create scalable operating systems that drive social innovation.
In her current role, she works closely with the Foundry team, focusing on strengthening relationships and leading efforts to recruit the next generation of social innovators for the Acumen Fellows Program.
