As Development and Partnerships Manager at Acumen Europe, Zoya focuses on building strategic partnerships across the UK and Europe and amplifying Acumen’s position as a thought leader in driving solutions for social impact. She has been an international development professional for 15 years, with expertise in building relationships with key stakeholders across governments, civil society, and the private sector, collaborating across multi-regional and cross-sectoral teams, and developing partnership strategies. Before joining Acumen in 2023, she was the Strategic Partnerships Manager for a decade, heading private sector relationships for BRAC UK across the UK and Europe. She collaborated with large foundations and corporations to develop initiatives in Livelihoods, Health, Education, and Skills for BRAC’s portfolio in Asia and Africa. She also led the development of BRAC’s global innovative finance opportunities, focusing on Impact Bonds in Skills and Early Childhood Development. Zoya sits on the Board of the OPUS-VICS group in Pakistan, a public-private partnership focusing on the transport industry and emissions. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the London School of Economics and a dual Bachelor’s Degree from Bryn Mawr College in Economics and French.
