Timona Chore

Timona supports Acumen’s ESG work in East Africa and across the various Acumen Capital Partner Funds. Timona also leads Acumen’s stakeholder engagement and government relations initiatives across the various Acumen Capital Partner Funds. Previously, Timona worked in roles where he supported sustainability initiatives in the off-grid solar sector, extractives sector and fisheries sector. Timona has a Masters in International and Development studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, with a major specialization in Environment and Sustainability, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Strathmore University.
