Taha Rashid

Taha joined Acumen in 2022 as a Leadership Associate in the Pakistan office where he helps manage Acumen Academy operations and community building activities for the region.

Taha holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He was fascinated by questions on education and development, and what it means for a society and people to be empowered. He found himself working with Teach For Pakistan to answer some of these questions by working in a public school in a low-income community in the outskirts of Islamabad. He also worked with the Ministry of Federal Education in Islamabad on the Single National Curriculum in facilitating the inclusion of Deeni Madaris (Seminary Schools).
