Emily Fagundes

As the West Coast Operations Associate on the Development and Partnerships team, Emily manages West Coast fundraising operations. She supports the team in effectively stewarding and engaging donors and coordinating local events. Before Acumen, Emily supported several social impact organizations in project management, program development, research, and communications roles. Emily received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University where she became involved with the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. In her roles for the Miller Center, Emily has co-created business solutions with community-based social enterprises in rural Rwanda, led the design of a new training program to educate early-stage entrepreneurs in East and Central Africa on digital storytelling and impact reporting, and supported the execution of an action research fellowship partnering university students with social enterprises.
