This Entrepreneur is Tackling Kenya’s Sanitation Crisis

By Acumen on April 06, 2018

How do you get people to start giving a sh*t about sh*t? That’s the question constantly on the mind of Lindsay Stradley, Co-founder of our investee Sanergy, a social enterprise building sustainable toilets in the slums of East Africa and serving 55,000 residents daily. As Lindsay explains in her newly released TED Talk, addressing the global sanitation crisis starts with first talking about human waste and then building smarter systems designed for the modern world. Sanergy is helping to catalyze that change every step of the way.
