Our Partnership Approach
SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAINS
The standard of “Business as usual” is changing and most corporations are now proactively building supply chains that ensure long term sustainability. Through Acumen, corporations gain access to social enterprises and deep market knowledge to help in this journey.
Offering meaningful employee engagement opportunities is quickly becoming a must-have for corporations. Employees want to grow, connect and leverage their skills for impact. The capabilities within corporations can be invaluable to scaling social enterprises. Acumen acts as a bridge to those opportunities.
GROWTH THROUGH INNOVATION
In an increasingly fast moving environment, corporations are seeking innovative business models that can address today’s global challenges. Acumen’s portfolio of social enterprises are building new ways of working and have the knowledge base and market insights built through years of working in their local communities.
Acumen is deeply committed to learning alongside our partners and sharing our ideas, insights, and solutions broadly. We invite corporations who are interested in going on this journey with us to share our platform.
Beyond Dialogue Workshop
Corporate participants are invited to explore ways they can collaborate with social enterprises at Acumen’s Beyond Dialogue Workshop, a side event at the Skoll World Forum, the leading global convening of social entrepreneurs, held in Oxford, England.
Acumen created the Collaboration Summit to bring social enterprises and international corporations together to catalyze inclusive business models that address Africa’s biggest social challenges. Over the last 5 years corporations such as Unilever, GE, Dow, Barclays, EY, and others have joined in to support the event turning the Summit into an annual gathering.
