Yes. Acumen is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S. All gifts made to Acumen in the U.S. are tax deductible. In addition, Acumen’s U.K. branch is a restricted fund under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund. U.K. Partners can take advantage of U.K. tax benefits by giving through Prism.

There are other ways to give, such as donating stock, fundraising for Acumen, joining our Legacy Society, or even via the PayPal Giving Fund.

Acumen releases an annual impact report and a quarterly newsletter showcasing the impact of your support. In addition, our Development & Partnerships team engages each of our Partners individually to ensure they are close to areas of our work they care about the most.

Acumen has a unique approach to philanthropic investing. We reinvest in our continued work to ensure we continue to provide high-risk and Patient Capital in the form of debt or equity for early-stage social enterprises serving customers experiencing poverty.
