Eric Carroll

As the Associate Director of Risk and Compliance, Eric ensures adherence to both local regulatory requirements and those of our funders across offices in eight countries, two dozen target geographies, and four domiciles. Additionally, Eric coordinates the organization’s risk management processes, including the development of financial, geographic, and concentration risk rating protocols Previously, Eric worked at Acceso and the Clinton Foundation, serving as Associate Director of Agribusiness. In that role, Eric provided commercial oversight for the organization’s portfolio in Latin America and the Caribbean, focusing on Colombia and Haiti.

Prior to working with Acceso, Eric served as Country Director of a small American NGO working in the education sector, Team Tobatí, in Tobatí, Paraguay . Following this experience, Eric worked briefly for the micro-finance organization, Fundación Paraguaya, in Asunción, Paraguay. Eric holds a Master of Arts in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Boston College. He is fluent in Spanish and Haitian Creole.
