Giselle Salgado

As a Senior Associate for Course Operations with Acumen Academy, Giselle works at the intersection between processes and platforms, helping refine and develop operational processes that enable the global team to deliver courses and improve them over time based on customer insights. She coordinates the Social Entrepreneurship 101 initiative, and supports course takers throughout their learning journey with technical assistance.

Giselle joined Acumen in April 2022, with the aim of contributing to expand the reach of social change by delivering mighty learning experiences. Prior to Acumen, she worked as a change consultant, training teams from public and private organizations on how to navigate and make sense of the cultural transformations they were undergoing through storytelling.

For most of her professional career, she has worked as a User Experience Design Consultant for IT consulting firms, and more recently, she has led and mentored design teams in the conception and implementation of digital projects. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Colombian Red Cross as an editor of educational material for school populations.

Giselle holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication, with an emphasis on Editorial and Multimedia Production from the Pontifical Xavierian University in Bogotá.
