Irtiza Ali

Irtiza is a Portfolio Associate at Acumen where he manages investment-related activities. Prior to joining Acumen, he worked as an Investment Officer for two years at Social Investment Managers and Advisors (SIMA Funds), a US-based impact investment firm. Irtiza’s expertise includes end-to-end deal execution: origination, due-diligence, disbursement, and portfolio management. He facilitated origination and management of debt facilities in impact sectors including ‘Energy Access and ‘Financial Inclusion’ across emerging markets in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Asia Pacific.

Irtiza graduated from the leading business school in Pakistan – Institute of Business Administration, Karachi with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance in 2017. He was also a recipient of the United States Education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP) student exchange scholarship, through which he spent Spring 2016 studying at the Endicott College based in Massachusetts, USA.
