Ishita is a leadership development facilitator and coach. She began her work for justice as a Teach For India Fellow, teaching in a Delhi public school in 2014. Over the last decade, she has coached Teach For India fellows and Social Entrepreneurs under their in-house incubation program TFIx. Having traveled to diverse contexts in India she has worked in depth with individuals and their teams to build leadership skills that directly impact their work for justice.

In 2022 she achieved a diploma certificate with Narrative Practices India, towards enabling holistic coaching that recognizes the agency of all people, the existence of multiple narratives, and the urgent need of surfacing them. Much of her facilitation and coaching skills are informed by narrative practices.

As an education and leadership development consultant, Ishita has worn several hats from creating program designs, executing whole school transformation projects, teaching politics to international students, and creating social and emotional learning curriculums.

Ishita has a keen interest in politics’ social impact and holds an Honors degree in Political Science from Calcutta University.
