As Grants Management Senior Associate on the Development & Partnerships team, Josie manages grants for Acumen’s Trellis and PEII+ initiatives, ensuring the unique goals and requirements of a diverse group of corporate, government and philanthropic funders are met. Josie works cross-functionally with finance, impact and portfolio teams to deliver tailored program reports, updates and other engagements with partners.
Prior to Acumen, Josie led field operations for a startup nonprofit that connected smallholder farmers with fair produce markets in Northern Uganda.
Josie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University, with a Bachelor of Science in Human & Organizational Development and two minors in Business and Political Science.
