Kanhay Kubal

Kanhay manages the community building initiatives in India to support the social leaders to scale / deepen their impact. He also supports the team in fundraising and recruitment for the leadership programs to bring in the next generation of social innovators in India. Previously, he worked at Fitket, a gamified wellness application, where he was responsible to build strategic partnerships with corporates, institutions and non-profits. Prior to that, he worked as a Business Development Consultant at Samhita Social Ventures to forge partnerships between diverse stakeholders for maximizing social impact.

Kanhay’s career in the development sector began as a Gandhi Fellow, working at grassroots in a tribal district where he was responsible to improve the student learning outcomes. He did a short stint at YES Foundation where he was placed with Lend-A-Hand India to amplify the impact by leveraging their media initiatives. Kanhay holds an Executive degree from FIFA/CIES in Sports Management, and a bachelor’s degree from Mumbai University in Commerce.
