Lucia Ferrarese

Lucia Ferrarese is a Manager at Acumen Academy, where she oversees daily operations, cross-functional collaboration, and the implementation of learning programs. In her current role, Lucia leads strategic initiatives to improve program delivery and alignment across Acumen Academy’s global teams. She previously spearheaded the development and delivery of train-the-trainer programs and leadership accelerators for partners and social change leaders from 2021 to 2023. Lucia joined Acumen in 2020, initially supporting and guiding regional fellowship teams in implementing their selection processes across nine geographies.

Prior to Acumen, Lucia worked at Environmental Defense Fund, focusing on team coordination, project and event management, and program operations. At the same time, she served as a Teaching Associate at Columbia University for over two years, providing academic support for graduate-level courses in conflict resolution. Earlier in her career, Lucia worked as a junior legal counsel in Argentina, where she contributed to the implementation of government programs in underserved regions.

Lucia holds a master’s degree in negotiation and conflict resolution from Columbia University and a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires.
