Naeem Zamindar is the Chairman Pakistan Board of Investments and a Minister of State. He is responsible for promoting, facilitating and driving investment policy for Pakistan, for it’s growth into a prosperous society, enabling all of it’s citizens to eventually live up-to their full potential. He is also, the convener of the Industrial Cooperation Joint Working Group under China Pakistan Economic Cooperation (BRI) initiative and a member of the Economic Coordination Committee for the Federal Government.

Naeem is recognized for his results-driven style of leadership, with a background in venture capitalism and entrepreneurship. Having held board and senior management positions to build and grow companies, in both, the public and private sector. He is inspired to create a better and happier world and has a great track record of envisioning the future, transformational leadership, leveraging innovation and technology, and fostering collaborations to enable others to consistently deliver strong business results.

As the CEO of Acumen Pakistan, he enjoyed building a great portfolio of transformative social ventures and leaders, and setting up and raising money for the Acumen Pakistan Fund. He previously worked at Intel Capital in Silicon Valley, helping build companies in the digital, new media and wireless broadband space. In Pakistan, he was CEO of Wateen Telecom, where he restructured the publicly listed company, turned around the business and repositioned it for growth. He was also a founding member of Pakistan’s leading telecom company Mobilink, eventually heading strategy and business development, including founding the Broadband Business Division through the acquisition of four companies.

Naeem Zamindar is on the board and investment committee of Ufone (Etisalat Group), one of the leading mobile communications companies of Pakistan. He has an MBA from INSEAD, France. He also volunteers his time to teach mindfulness for self mastery and creating more belonging within society.
