Nivritti Samtaney

As the India Fellows Program Lead, Nivritti manages the operational and strategic aspects of the India Fellows Program, and works closely with the India Fellows Manager to build a robust and active Fellows community in India.
Nivritti started her career as a fellow at Teach For India in 2012 and went on to become Program Manager, Senior Program Manager and work with their in-house incubator TFIx. This led her to develop a deep interest in the world of social entrepreneurship in India.
In 2021, Nivritti took on a personal passion project- to produce a film with some students from Teach For India (including some of her own students from 2012) on socio-economic inclusion in education. The film is in post-production now.
Nivritti holds a Bachelors’ degree in Psychology from the University of Exeter, UK and a Masters’ in Counselling in Education from the University of Bristol, UK.
