Sonya Khattak

Team

Sonya manages special projects for Acumen CEO Jacqueline Novogratz. She previously led strategic engagement for the CEO, serving in a Chief of Staff capacity. Prior to joining Acumen in 2017, Sonya worked in Washington, D.C. as an analyst for an international economic policy advisory firm and as a research assistant at a foreign policy think tank. She spent a year teaching English in Izmir, Turkey with the Fulbright Program and has spent time living in Oman and Jordan. Sonya holds a B.A. in Economics and Global Studies with Highest Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
