Towela Ngondi

As the East Africa Fellowship Associate at Acumen, Towela manages operations and finances related to first-year fellows and Foundry activities. Towela joined Acumen in November 2022, bringing extensive knowledge in program management gained from her experience with behavior change startups and mental health programs. In these roles, she focused on optimizing training and recruitment procedures to drive impactful outcomes.

Before joining Acumen, Towela served as a Public Relations specialist, assisting organizations in tailoring their narratives for diverse audiences. Outside her role at Acumen, Towela works with adolescents and their families. Helping families create nurturing environments, she collaborates with parents and teachers to create spaces where teens can flourish and thrive.
